1. Slow Performance
This is usually noticeable when regularly used applications and programs start to run slower and slower over time. This is a software issue, and is the result of fragmentation. Fragmentation is what builds over time when using the disk on a computer, and has to be cleaned normally to keep a computer in running condition. You can also check the task manager and review which unneeded programs are taking up the most memory and RAM, which is also an aspect in the speed of your computer. End these background programs to return the RAM they use back to the computer.
2. Computer Noises
Another common place problem in most computers. This can be spotted when the computer itself begins to make loud grinding or scraping noises. This is due to a physical hardware failure, and is more likely to happen in older computers than in new ones. To solve this, switch out the cooling fans and other components inside the computer, which tend to create noise when they get old.
3. Constant Freezing
Easily one of the most common computer errors, which can be recognized when a computer “freezes” and does not respond to input whatsoever. This can usually be solved with a simple restart of the computer, but in the case that is continues to happen, could be due to lack computer memory, corrupted files or viruses. Checking through each one of these possibilities is the best route if the computer still freezes after a reboot.
4. Slow Browsing Speed
This is characterized by slower than normal internet browsing speeds. This can be due to both software, or hardware problems. On the software side it could be due to a poor WiFi/ LAN network connection, and can be solved by checking if they are active. On the hardware side it could be due to conflicts in an IP registration, which can be fixed by restarting the modem or router. If problems still persist, it could be due to a large cache and browsing history, which can be cleared to fix the speed.
5. Computer Monitor Issues
This appears in the form of a low resolution desktop, or the icons of files are slightly off or different upon a boot up. This is usually due to the graphics card, and can be solved by updating graphical drivers, in most cases. In the most dire of situations, the solution might be to replace the graphics card altogether.
